The service catalog of Ventanilla Unica project includes:

  • Consulting. This service includes modeling of activities of the government agencies and the private sector in foreign trade.
  • Scanning. It consists of installing a module that will be scanned 150 million sheets that constitute the historical paper information of the General Customs Administration.
  • Wireless network. It consists in implementing a wireless network in the 49 customs offices.
  • Implementation. These services include automation of the processes detected from the private sector and also the procedures of the government agencies.
  • Information. This service consists in defining solutions for management and operation information stored in the Ventanilla Unica.
  • Operation and maintenance. This service consists in the operation and maintenance of the Ventanilla Unica.
  • Additional Services. It includes several sub-services for the functioning of the Ventanilla Unica:
    • Mobile processing.It consists in providing handheld devices to the customs inspectors, in order to verify the documentation supporting the foreign trade transactions.
    • Training. Several courses to make an efficient use of the tool.
    • E-learning module. E-learning is to train and support through web technologies all the users involved in foreign trade.
    • Organizational change management. This is a process designed to mitigate the undesirable effects of organizational change in government agencies, institutions and various actors in the trade.

Developing an electronic customs office
The Tax Administration through the General Customs Administration in the effort involved in the Ventanilla Unica project looks forward to implement an electronic customs office.
